1. About
Touchstones trains teachers and parents to teach their kids can develop social emotional skills and cognitive skills, and they install discussion-based learning curricula at school.
Problem
Touchstones is sometimes asked for information by people who find it hard to listen or who don’t want to read much.
Wants
Such pieces need to carry our brand colors and brand elements while relaying data points or instructional benefits.
Target Audiences
Prospective funders/philanthropists and foundations supporting work in education, Prospective customers.
2. Data Sources
Touchstones wants to show how skills acquired through Touchstones connect to Social and Emotional Learning as they develop and grow up.

3. Colours
For the inforgraphy, seven colors are needed to bring clarity to seven TouchStones Essential skills data.

To give consistency with the Touchstones brand identity, colors are derived from two TouchStone’s identity colors: TouchStones Blue (#385e78) and TouchStones Green (#8dc73e).
4. Animation Format
Their compass-shape logo reminded me of a sailing map. I was inspired by the logo and I made infographic animation with cargo ship idea.
The second scene, world map, was used to show each continent having relationship with each value of Touchstones.
Feedback From Client
They liked the animation and thought that it would capture the audience’s attention. However, they thought that the concept might make people to understand as if they were a shipping company.
5. Process & Feedback
Client want to connected more between value of Touchstones and the value of Social and Emotional Learning. It looks like a strong relationship.
First Try Line Graph
Change Color Scheme
Make color variation between Touchstones identity color and green used for Touchstones documents to give similar feeling with the Touchstones documents. Change the title and the order of the list.
Second Try Line Graph
Rotated 90 Degrees
Rotate 90 degrees to apply the client’s comment that she does not want the feeling go down. It might give a feeling going up, and the plant growing up.
