1. Why
“
Students’ lack of financial literacy is quite serious problem. More than one in six U.S. students failed to reach the baseline level of proficiency in financial literacy...
“
finally the financial crash of 2008 really showed how unprepared students were for handling their own personal finances to better prepare for the future.
“
We get a job but nobody’s teaching anybody how to manage money properly.

5. How to Make Her Fun?
We thought about how we reduce her stress when she think about the financial.
Key-Point
We thought the social media can be the key to make her to have good spending habits. Ursula does what her friends do because they make her feel comfortable. This will cause her to be more comfortable in financial situations.

6. Resourse
UArts Portal (School Portal)
UArts portal is outdated and difficult to use. This is used for grades and resources.
App is easier to use than the original portal. This also relates more to this age group and makes it more accessible.
Make school portal to app and add financial category.
Mentoring-system
School supports mentoring system,
if there is students needs in any category school support actively.
She feels more comfortable to talk and open her mind to peer age group.
7. Solution
Make School App and Add a Social Media Function
Friends are all involved and are all comparing their spending habits. Users can post their achievments concerns and promote school events. They will come out of this with confidence and financial literacy.
Add Financial Tracking
This will have a visual of what you are spending money on each month. This will also help you budget your spending.
Peer Mentoring
A relatable, similar age mentor who educates how to shop better and also educating on basic finance.
